The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is associated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and offers a four-year B.Tech program and one postgraduate program (M. Tech in Communication Engineering). The goal of the Department is to provide high-quality instruction in the discipline of electrical engineering. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2009 with the primary objective of imparting quality education and training in the various areas of Electronics and Communication, thereby Molding the students into competent professionals. The faculty members have extensive training in signal and image processing, artificial intelligence, nanoelectronics, embedded systems, VLSI, and micro/nano electro-mechanical systems. The department is well-equipped with fully functional laboratories, including advanced electrical engineering, power electronics, electrical measurements, basic electrical, electrical machines, and an electrical workshop. The curriculum is organized such that it enables the students to get a strong foundation on various aspects of electronics and communication engineering such as digital systems design, electromagnetic theory, digital signal processing, microprocessors and microcontrollers, electronic circuits, VLSI design, digital communication, analog communication, control engineering, and microwave engineering
